Ski Holidays in Pas de la Casa
In 2004 Pas de la Casa merged with Soldeu to form the giant Grandvalira area, the largest in the Pyrenees and one of the world's 50 largest resorts, with nearly 200km (125 miles) of piste linked by a state-of-the-art high-speed lift network.
Today Pas de la Casa is officially just another part of Grandvalira and, despite a gradual move upmarket, it maintains its strong independent identity and reputation as a base for hardcore snow fans and après skiers.
This lively resort (referred to locally as Pas) is situated just a few hundred metres from the French border in the parish of Encamp. The resort sits at an altitude of 2050m with the highest lift at 2640m making Pas the highest resort in the Pyrenees. Due to its superb location (and heavy investment in artificial snow making) Pas enjoys an excellent snow record complimented by plenty of blue skies and sunshine.
The resort is well known for its excellent, lively après ski with a mix of bars, restaurants and clubs to keep you going long into the early hours. There are plenty of other off piste activities for you or your family to take part in whether it’s a trip to Caldea Spa for pampering or Skidoos and helicopter rides for the more adventurous.
