Ski Holidays in Soldeu

Soldeu ski resort is one of the highest inhabited villages in Andorra, and the Pyrenees.

Soldeu is part of the fantastic Grandvalira ski area which offers skiers and boarders of all abilities a combination of easy slopes to more challenging runs - the full area extends to 193km so should keep most of you happy for your week on the snow

Background on the ski area

Although all the villages/bases that make up the ski area are well linked into the ski area and each has its own facilities, it's important to be aware that they are all a few miles apart by bus. Thus Soldeu and El Tarter for example, sometimes lumped together as one resort name, are in fact two separate villages a little way apart.

The combined area has grown rapidly and offers an exceptional fleet of state-of-the-art high-capacity chairlifts and swish gondolas and is now ranked as one of the world's 50 largest ski areas. Despite the rapid expansion, Soldeu has maintained high environmental standards and is one of the few resorts worldwide that has adopted the ISO 14001 international environmental management system.
