Getting there:

Flights to Vienna are the easiest from the UK - if your tour starts in Passau, we can arrange a train from Vienna to Passau as part of the tour (its not far to your base point from the staion but, if your bags are heavy - there are taxis)

Vienna airport and the Vienna rail station are well connected with public transport - tickets can be purchased in the arrival hall.

Cycling Holidays along the Danube

The Danube provides an excellent location for your cycle holiday. Lots of cycle paths and plenty of attractions and distractions to see on your journey.

We offer a range of alternatives from a single hotel base to multiple hotels and, our personal favourite, stay aboard a traditional river ship which operates as you floating hotel see Theodor Koerner

The great advantage of these tours is that you do not have to pack your things every day - you cycle during the day and return to the very same room on the ship in the evening.

Your cycling routes vary in duration and route so we hope we have something to suit most people. The Hits for kids is a great option to introduce the family to cycling holidays with prices starting from £389pp

Travel options can include the train to Munich or Vienna or flights to Munich, Vienna or Linz - contact us if you would like us to provide an itinerary from the UK.

Vienna, the imperial city is quite enchanting and you can enjoy a guided city tour of all major sights like St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Giant Ferry Wheel.
