The Pitztal valley is, remarkably, not well known on the British market. Located just 90km from Innsbruck airport it is a beautiful valley in the Austrian Tyrol.

The pistes generally open for skiing in September - you can book accommodation from our summer or winter options for Pitztal between September and December.

If you enjoy an active holiday, then this is a great destination to choose.

There is rafting, canyoning and kayaking on the Imster Gorge with advanced options on the Otztaler Ache river.

Favourite attractions include the Area 47, the Rosengarten gorge and the Alpine coaster. The town also boasts Austria's highest indoor climbing arena.

Other activities include Horse riding, Paragliding, Nordic Walking, cycling, white water rafting, canyoning, climbing, glacier safari, bungee jumping, and paragliding are all available nearby.

Although there are plenty of activities to keep you busy during your stay don't forget to spend some of your holiday just relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness of the area and enjoying the fantastic views.

Adventure park
The recently opened Ötztal Outdoor High Ropes Course is located in the heart of Austrian Tyrol. It combines all the elements of nature with the spectacular Ötztal Mountains as its back drop.

Canyoning
