What We Would Change

More flying into Innsbruck from the UK would be good as it is so close to resort. There are some, but there are more options into Salzburg and Munich.

A short transfer from Innsbruck airport (half an hour) brings you up to the beautiful Stubai valley.

Autumn breaks in the Stubai Valley

Ski Holidays in The Stubai Valley

There are various villages along the Stubai valley starting with Schoenberg and finishing at the foot of the Stubai Glacier ski lift at the village of Mutterberg. The first village in the valley is Schoenberg and you can travel up the valley towards Mutterberg from where you can access the glacier. There are various different ski areas but the main two are the glacier skiing and Schlick 2000 above the village of Fulpmes. There are regular ski buses which run along the valley floor and are free with the lift passes. Tobogganing is a big sport here with 10 toboggan runs totalling 67km (3 of which are 8km long) 4 of the runs are illuminated and there are various alpine huts where you can stop off for a drink on your way back down.

There’s a leisure centre in Neustift called the Freizeit zentrum with an indoor pool, 72m long water slide, saunas, steam room and massage therapists. The centre also has a bowling alley, shooting range and a cafe/restaurants. Entrance to the pool is free with the Super Stubai ski pass. The Stubai leisure park in Fulpmes – Telfes also has an indoor pool with waterslide, sauna zone , separate infants pool and cafe/restaurant. This pool is also free with the Super Stubai lift pass.

Corporate trips

Located close to Innsbruck, this is an excellent option for a Corporate ski trip as there are excellent standard accommodations plus a range of activities for non-skiers (if some on the trip are not keen on skiing)

The city of Innsbruck is 25 minutes away making transfers short and easy. It is also possible to fly in to Munich which offers a wider range of flight options from the UK, Europe and beyond.

Autumn Breaks

The Stubai valley offers glacier skiing and a long season - the lifts open in September and offer excellent ski conditions for the Autumn.

The resort plays host to many ski teams for early season training so you will be skiing amongst the very talented.....do not worry, there is plenty of room on the glacier for us all.

Early season, the Innsbruck flights are more limited but we can arrange transfers from Munich and there are year round flight options heading there.
