Montgenevre with the family
Enjoying a week with the family in Montgenevre and I have been reminded what a great resort Montgenevre is for a family group
Montgenevre is on the French/Italian border and being high, it has some of the better snow conditions across the French Alps right now.
Considering the challenging conditions over the last few weeks, the resort has worked hard to keep the resort operating effectively.
The children are enjoying ski school with the ESF and are pestering for yet another go on the Monty Express - the luge - which has proved a real highlight. Check out the weblink and the video at Monty Express luge
Another highlight was our visit to Claviere for a pizza where the children were presented with a "Micky Mouse" pizza and that certainly helped tea proceed smoothly.
The great thing about the resort is that the access to the slopes from the resort is so easy and, when skiing with youngsters, it is a real bonus to have a resort that is so well set up.
If you are looking for party town - Montgenevre will not be for you but if you want a great resort for family and friends with lots of skiing, a convivial atmosphere and excellent value - I would heartily recommend it.
Best head back to collect the children and see how they did on their test - fingers crossed!
