Follow the Bear
Generally, we blog about what Zenith are up to and whats new in our featured resorts or upcoming destinations........
.........but this blog is slightly different because we are going to promote an event taking place in Trafalgar Square!!
As you may have read, Zenith sponsor a Polar Bear with WWF - we have a Polar bear (L'Ours Blanc) chalet in Montgenevre and for every £1,000 or revenue we take in the sponsored rooms, we up our contribution to WWF by £10 - and there is an event from 11 - 20 December 2009 where there will be an "ice" Polar Bear which will be slowly melting........to symbolise the threat to the Polar Bear in the Arctic.
The exhibit is a life sized ice sculpture and the public will be encouraged to touch it, not just view it. So as the Christmas holidays are almost upon us, it may be an interesting (and informative) diversion for the children for a bit.
