NASA Predicts 2012 is the Best Year in 50 Years to View the Northern Lights!
The Northen Lights is one of those things that often appears on the "50 things to do before I die"......indeed many, I am told have it on the 10 things to do.....
5 years ago, I had a 4 day break to Iceland but did not see them - last October, Erica made the trip and saw them - see her thoughts.
However, whether you see them or not - and, if NASA are to be believed, the cahnces are good - there are lots of other reasons to have a break in Iceland:
.....and depending on when you go, whale watching and Puffins as well.
