New photography and latest snowfall
Just back from a week in the french alps - the first few days I was accompanying a photographer around our chalets so we could get some new and updated photos. We've been improving the bedrooms and wanted to show you on our website! Watch out for the new photos next week sometime.
Then it was down to Annecy for the Grand Ski workshop where we started the contracting for next winter. Erica and I managed 37 meetings in 2 days and then I went back up to Alpe D'huez - this time with a press trip Zenith were hosting. We spent 3 days in resort showing them round the slopes, the chalets and the bars.
The first day we had an instructor from the ESF show us around the resort - Yann even brought his video camera and filmed us attempting to ski in synchronisation. This was not easy as we had one of Britains top female skiers with us (Pamela Thorburn) - you can see the viedo clip here. That night we also tried out the nightskiing.
On Friday it started to snow again and overnight another 70cm fell which meant that on Saturday morning we woke up to powder snow! We managed to get a couple of hours on the slopes before we had to head off (Jamie and the guys were heading off to Montgenevre for a few days and back to the airport for me).
As you can see the snow is fabulous at the moment!
