The Journey of the Olympic Torch

The organisers of next year's games have unveiled a journey for the Olympic torch on its way to London. Along the route the torch will change hands 8,000 times as it travels by horseback, by canoe, by balloon and by zip wire as well as on foot. The journey will take 70 days to complete......

As I read an account of the journey, it sounded like the organisers had been taking their ideas from the range of activity holidays that are provided by Zenith Holidays.

I read on for some attribution but it was not there – never mind........I am glad that we inspired the organisers!!

If you would like to experience the range of activities on the Olympic torch tour, let us suggest

      Zipwire in Basilicata

      Horseriding in Slovenia

      Balloon ride in Morzine

      Canoe/kayak in Serre Chevalier

These only scratch the surface of the activity options on a Zenith Holiday:

      Surfing Holidays

      Multi-activity Holidays

      Cycling Holidays

      City Breaks

      Sailing Holidays

.....and, of course

      Skiing Holidays

Try Via Ferrata in Italy, Austria or France - translates as the iron road and it is an excellent introduction to the thrills of climbing
