Aquapalace Hotel 
Whether you are looking to spend all your time in the pools and saunas and gyms (and that is great fun) or whetehr you wish to take advantage of some of the options to visit the botanivcal gardens, the zoo, the historical old town or the Chriostmas markets - there is plenty to do when the Aquapalace is your base.
Located less than 10 miles from Prague city centre, the Aquapalace provides a Waterworld of fun for the entire family with 3 themed palaces and an exterior zone. If you are counting then there are 6 switchbacks,3 slides, a spacebowl, a wild river and a diving pit! For the younger ones, there is a wave pool as well as a paddling pool.
Naturally, there is also a swimming pool (19 metres long) as well as 450 metres of slow and fast rivers connecting the Waterworld.
When it is time to relax, there is the Spa Centre and the sauna World (can prebook or pay locally) as well as a modern fully equipped 2 story fitness centre. The accommodation is comfortable and relaxed with the rooms being well appointed in a modern design.
If you are inclined to venture beyond the Aquapalace, Prague’s old town is noted for its many churches and old houses located along the cobblestone streets. You could visit the Jewish quarter which is famous for its moving history or take a boat tour down the Vltava River (the longest river in the Czech Republic) which is an ideal way to discover the city. Whatever you choose, this city is worth a visit - why not hire a bike and get there under your own steam - approx 7km.
Restaurants and bars exist aplenty in Prague and you can take your pick from comfortable riverside cafes, convivial venues on Kampa Island (for those on the town!) to mention just two possibilities.
