Bike Park Leogang

The bike park first opened in 2001 and quickly became one of the most highly reputed bikeparks in Europe. It is a one of only 11 bikeparks worldwide to be a Kona Groove approved Bikepark.

For young and old, experienced and beginners - anyone can enjoy the experience of the tours and downhill trails. The 8 seat cable car takes everyone to the start of the park and there are several trails leading back down to the valley. You don't have to be a pro to have a go at this - you can hire a guide from the bike school if you want to learn how to tackle the technical areas, but thre are plenty of easy routes for beginners who just want to try it out. All the equipment can be hired locally.

The main freeride trail is the Flying Gangster - a 2.5km long trail with fantastic flow and a 458 m vertical drop. The track width is 0.5 - 3m. There is a second newer trail called the Bongo Bongo which is for experienced riders who are used to these complex types of downhill biking. Lots of northshore and solid rock sections as well as berms (banked corners) and wall rides. (beginners can bypass some of the more difficult passages) The Hangman trail is designed for beginners and is an easy going trail where you can test out your skills before trying the freeride or downhill. It is 3,25 m long and has a vertical drop of 430m. The track width is 1 - 3m.

For younger riders (4 - 12) there is an area with 2 courses - one with small banked corners and a second which is much flatter. Adults can sit out on the terrace of the B3 bar and watch as the children practise little drops and improve their balance. Summer tubing is also on offer at the mini Bike Park and summer tobogganing at the top of the Asitzbahn lift.

The main Bike Park is open until 26th October and the mini Bike Park is open until 6th September from 11am to 5pm daily

The Asitzbahn lift runs from 9am until 4.45pm daily until 13th September.
