Snow Kiting
Serre Chevalier is an ideal resort for snow kiting - it is done on the Col de Lauteret.
We can arrange tuition or, if you are have experience and the equipment, we can arrange transport up to the Col from your accommodation - this can be done on a full or half day basis. Prices start at approx £37 for a taster session (1 hours) and £82 for a half day (3 hours)
In Serre Chevalier, the equipment can be hired for €150 for the week. Lots of people like the half day session although there is a taster session. (there's not much time to actually use the kite and ski/surf in the taster session as most of the time is spent learning how to use the kite.) With the half day you will spend the first hour leaning about the kite, then the two together and the final hour trying to kiteski or kite surf.
Minimum age is 7 yrs (need to be able to do consecutive turns on a blue run)and each instructor takes a maximum of 4 pupils.
Adequate insurance will be required and a deposit will be taken. You can buy specific insurance for 6€ for 2 days.
Tuition rates include the provision of equipment.
