Mountain Biking in the Portes Du Soleil
The lift infrastructure is vast, taking you all over the mountains. There are 650 km of sign-posted tracks, 10 permanent downhill runs & 4 bike-parks. In total 25 ski-lifts are open in the Portes du Soleil in summer. In Morzine this includes the Pleney gondola giving access to Les Gets & the Super Morzine gondola towards Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes Du Soleil. Both the Chavannes and Mount Chery sides of the mountain are open for you in Les Gets during the summer months.
Numerous places offer bike rental, from the very basic single suspension models, to serious all singing, dancing and bouncing full suspension machines. Whichever you choose, also consider your safety wear and don't even consider going out without a helmet.
