Alpe D'Huez

Alpe D'Huez has a great network of lifts for hikers and bikers giving quick and easy access into the mountains. There are 143 miles of marked routes including several easy routes for families which are accessible to everyone.There are 12 lakes within walking distance of the resort.There is a large open air pool and an icerink as well as a sports centre (Palais de Sports) which has an indoor pool, gym, climbing wall, squash, badminton, indoor golf range and sauna.

There is a 9 hole golf course, mini golf, archery, tennis and a summer luge or you might like to try horse riding, paragliding or a via ferrata. Some of the activities are included in a VISALP pass as well as use of the lifts (see doing more).
