Events in Alpe D'Huez
The resort plays host to a range of events each year. The Marmotte race, the Alpe D'Huez triathlon and the Magavalanche are just 3 that take place each summer.

Multi Activity Holidays

Alpe D'Huez has a great network of lifts for hikers and bikers giving quick and easy access into the mountains. There are 143 miles of marked routes including several easy routes for families which are accessible to everyone.There are 12 lakes within walking distance of the resort.There is a large open air pool and an icerink as well as a sports centre (Palais de Sports) which has an indoor pool, gym, climbing wall, squash, badminton, indoor golf range and sauna.
We offer several active programs from multi activity to bike based - these are just examples of possible itineararies - if you would like a tailored program just request the program
There is a 9 hole golf course, mini golf, archery, tennis and a summer luge or you might like to try horse riding, paragliding or a via ferrata. Some of the activities are included in a VISALP pass as well as use of the lifts (see doing more).
Cycling Holidays
Alpe D'Huez regularly hosts a stage on the Tour de France - most recently in 2011.
Many visitors like to ride the 21 bends to see if they can do it.....if you fancy a go at that or would prefer mountain biking the Sarenne or similar, let us offer you a week in our chalets - either catered or self-catered.
