Annecy is the capital of the Haute Savoie and is effectively located at the crossroads with routes into Switzerland and Italy.
Annecy lies at the heart of a beautiful region crowned by mountain peaks and sitting at the head of a lovely lake.
There is a wealth of activity options in the area and, when you are feeling more sedate, head for the cobbled streets of old Annecy or the St-Pierre Cathedral.
There are a range of delightful villages along the shores of the Lake - do visit Talloires with its priory and abbey.
The mountain setting of the lakes makes it a great place for rambling, mountain biking, via ferrata and canyonning. Whether you are a beginner or have experience, we can assist - just enquire.
