Capbreton
The resort of Capbreton is a well kept secret. The golden sandy beaches stretch for miles, there are rock pools to clamber over hunting for crabs and shellfish and you'll find shoals of miniature fish.

The resort itself is divided into 2 parts - the North part which is where the port is and where you can find lots of surf shops, ice cream parlours and of course many restaurants serving fresh sea food - if you are a fan of seafood this is without a doubt the place for you! Many French people like to holiday here for the beaches and the local fruit de mer dishes.
As well as surfing there are lots of other activities available - try one of the many bike circuits in the area or go horse riding in the forest or on the beach. You can try quad biking, go-karting or play tennis or crazy golf at the Gaillou leisure park or play a round of golf in Seignosse (only 8km away)
