Whether you wish to try your hand at one activity like rock climbing, white water rafting, mountain biking, horse riding or paragliding, or if you just want to take a stroll and enjoy the wonderful scenery there really is something for everyone.

The town itself offers an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and boutiques and has excellent nightlife thanks to the numerous pubs and nightclubs. Chamonix also plays host to a number of events during the summer including a marathon around Mont Blanc in June and the world rock climbing championships in July.

A Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass is available which gives access to the numerous ski lifts and mountain trains, providing access to hundreds of kilometres of walks and mountain bike trails and some majestic views.
