Residence La Ginabelle 
Each apartment includes a fully fitted kitchenette with 4 ceramic hobs, multifunction oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, bath or shower room and toilet, TV, Telephone, Wi-fi (local charge) and balcony. Bed linen and towels are included and beds are made upon arrival. A basic cleaning kit is also included as is end of week cleaning (except kitchen area and washing up)
Loan service: socket guards, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, board games, fondue and raclette sets, daily newspapers available for consultation in the reception lounge, bed safety rail and portable PlayStation® ( subject to aivailability)
To ensure an absolute comfort when you arrive at the residence, Résidences MGM has introduced the SMS Service.
With this service, if you arrive before 5 pm and your apartment is not yet ready for you, you have to opportunity to carry out your arrival formalities and leave your mobile phone number at reception.
An SMS is sent to you as soon as your apartment is ready; you just have to pick up your keys and settle in. This way, you can start enjoying your holiday even before settling in to your apartment!
Additional information: A refundable deposit of €200 is payable upon arrival (credit/debit cards accepted).

Fête de la Musique is the celebration that takes place every summer solstice on 21st June in cities, towns and villages across France – Chamonix being no exception! More than a music festival, the Fête de la Musique is a free event that spills out from the bars and restaurants onto the streets and encompasses every type of music imaginable, from local amateur teen bands to professional classical musicians, from club DJ’s to traditional folk bands.

Each year during the middle of August the Chamonix valley celebrates the history of its mountain guides and their courageous achievements. Over a 4 day period the Guide Company (La compagnie des Guides) and the event sponsors put on a variety of attractions to raise money and awareness for the guides and to award those with outstanding achievements, as well as remembering those who lost their life on the mountain.
