- The snowpark has a halfpipe (4 m high and 100m long) , a freeride area and a Speedriding area. Boardercross - 700m long, 1 big air, 4lines of jumps (3 difficulty levels), tables, quarters, hip, box and other freestyle units. The snowpark is at 1800m on the Maroly side of the mountain and is classed as one of the top 5 in France.

Le Grand Bornand is situated in the Massif des Aravis, a fantastic ski area lesser known to the British market. The next door resort of La Clusaz is perhaps more well known, however the Massif des Aravis has a huge 220km of piste.
With a traditional french village feel, Le Grand Bornand has plenty of activities for the skier and non-skier alike.
There are two distinct ski areas in the Massif des Aravis with 120 pistes and 220km there is plenty to occupy even the most experienced skiers. From Le Grand Bornand you can access the Chinaillion pistes, with over 40 pistes and a variance runs. A short bus ride away you can enjoy the Aravis skiing area from La Clusaz, with buses running every half hour throughout the day.

There are a number of fun activities available in Le Grand Bornand including snowshoeing, paragliding, night and day sledging, ice climbing, ski touring and speed riding. For families there is an a large covered ice rink.
The resort has all the amenities you could need and expect from a town, including supermarkets, cash machines, restaurants and bars. There are of course ski shops, ski schools and a tourist office.

Le Grand Bornand by train
The resort of Le Grand Bornand is easiy reached from Geneva airport but can also be accessed from the train - closest station is Annecy but we can alos offer transfers from Moutiers.
Trains run regularly from London at the weekend - packages can be purchased with all our accommodation.
