Ski Holidays in Les 7 Laux
It's just over half an hour by car to Grenoble and 40 minutes from Chambery making it extremely accessible for a short break as well for longer stays.
Les 7 Laux has 2 resorts linked by one ski area - the larger resort is Prapoutel and the smaller one is called Pleynet. The resort was substantially renovated and partly restructured in order to offer to their customers all the services they require. There is a choice of shops, bars and restaurants in Prapoutel as well as a Sherpa supermarket for your food shopping.
Skiing in Les 7 Laux
The ski area has 120km of pisted slopes as well as some good off piste skiing which means the area is alot larger than it first looks. The skiing goes from 1350m up to the summit at 2400m. 90% of the lifts have been updated in the last 10 years and they are constantly adding new slopes. There's a good range of slopes for all levels and both sides of the mountain (Prapoutel and Pleynet) are connected by lifts.
Accommodation in Les 7 Laux
As a purpose built resort it consists entirely of apartments. Choose from standard apartments, renovated apartments or luxury apartments in the Residence Les Granges. This residence also has a spa - Le Bedina - which has treatment rooms for massages and beauty treatments, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and swimming pool. The spa is open to anyone in resort, but there are discounted prices available to those staying at Les Granges.
As the accommodation is all apartments it is of course self catered, but half board can be arranged at one of the local restaurants for a supplement.
