Ski Holidays in Morzine
There are two ski areas to explore from Morzine. The Pleney and Nyon lifts take you into the tree-lined Morzine-Les Gets ski fields and from the Super-Morzine and Prodain lifts you can discover Avoriaz, ski over into Switzerland and explore the other ski resorts in the Portes du Soleil. The full area pass covers 12 different resorts, 195 lifts and 266 pistes.
Doing More in Morzine
There are a number of fun activities available in Morzine including snowshoeing, paragliding, quad biking, ice diving, night sledging, skidoos, ice climbing, hot air ballooning, helicopter trips and heli skiing. For families there is an outdoor and indoor ice rink, horse and cart rides and a merry-go-round.The resort has the French stamp of approval with its Famille Plus label.
New for 2011 is the new Aquatics centre. Opening in December 2011 this complex includes an olympic sized pool, a training pool, a kids pool, a spa area and a restaurant/bar.
The resort has all the amenities you could need and expect from a town, including supermarkets, cash machines, restaurants and bars. There are of course ski shops, ski schools and a tourist office.
There is a great range of apres activities to enjoy on your ski holiday and these range from quad biking to ice hocley - the ice hockey events are great for the family ski holiday and do contact us for the events schedule
