Accommodation:: With apartments ranging from 2* to 4* there is something for every budget. All the apartments are close to the slopes (some are slopeside) and they sleep from 2 - 8 people. Transfer time – Risoul is 151km from Grenoble (takes approx 3 hours) and 147 km from Turin (2½ hours).

Doing more in Risoul, France

At 1850m Risoul has a good snow record and is one of the French resorts in the Haute Alpes region which boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year.

Ski Holidays in Risoul

A purpose built resort, set on a plateau and linked with the ski resort of Vars giving access to 55 ski lifts and 180km of skiing in the area called the "Foret Blanche". Like many of the southern alps resorts Risoul is known for being a sunny resort although at 1850 it is high enough to ensure a good snow cover for the winter season.

Skiing & Boarding in Risoul

The ski area includes the SURFLAND of Risoul and Vars also has a speed skiing run(the KL). As well as the downhill skiing there are 45km of cross country trails and 35km for snow shoeing. Other activities include sledging, snowmobiles, a small outdoor ice rink, dog sledding and paragliding.

New for Winter 10/11 was the "Luge Devale" - a 780m long toboggan ride with hairpin bends, jumps and tunnels. For more information on prices see doingmore.

This residence is split into 4 blocks and there are 3 types of apartments available. The ground floor consists of ski shops, a supermarket, a restaurant (Le Cherine) and a bar with the apartments on the floors above. We have put them on request only,as although they are ideally located on the slopes, they are quite noisy as lots of groups tend to stay here. The 3 star constellation apartments are only a tiny bit more expensive and well worth the extra amount (less than £10 per week in most cases!). Read More

When you book your holiday with Zenith Holidays, you can be confident that we will be there to help make the whole experience as smooth as easy as possible.
