Chalet Valentine

The internal layout of the chalet is modern, spacious and open-plan with plenty of alpine charm creating a charming and luxurious ski base. Alpine style ‘old pine’ furniture throughout. Extensive and tasteful part cladding of internal walls with locally sourced ‘brosse’ meleze.

There is comfortable seating for 11 people in both sitting room and separate adjoining dining room with designer fabrics chosen for curtains and upholstery.  A modern gas fired central heating system provides plenty of hot water for all occupants to shower/bath whenever they wish.

The en-suite bathrooms have showers and baths for those who prefer a luxurious soak to ease their aches and pains. Both fully tiled in honed and filled travertine. Family wet room with w.c., double wash basin and huge overhead drenching shower. Fully tiled with travertine and emperador dark marble.

The entrance floor has a heated boot room to efficiently dry and store wet boots and ski wear and also has a washing machine.There is a large outdoor lockable ski storage facility and bench seating to ease ski boot removal.

There are 3 bedrooms on this floor -the first is a large ensuite room which can sleep uo tp 4 in 1 double bed
and 2 single beds(The is also room for a cot).     Bedroom 2 
can sleep p to 3 in a single bed and a set of bunks. The 3rd bedroom on this floor is a twin room. There is also a wetroom with a walk-in shower and double washbasins.

 Upstairs on the first floor is the 4th ebdroom  - this is an ensuite double room for 2. There is a dining room
with a large dining table, seating up to 12 with beautiful views and an open plan sitting room/kitchen with dividing bar and stools to enable the ‘cook’ and their helpers to socialise while preparing the evening meal.

There is an open wood burning fire for those chilly winter evenings, a T.V, DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, Ipod docking station, Internet connection, a nintendo to keep the children happy (or maybe the adults as well!) as well as a selection of games and books. Hi-Fi system. This floor also has a separate w.c. and washbasin off the sitting room.

Double doors open onto a large sunny south facing balcony with great views of the mountains. Outdoor table and chairs andgas BBQ. Finally there is at least one English style electricity point in every room to charge mobile phones etc.

Prices include bed linen, towels, end of stay clean and local tourist tax. Our prices also include transfers to/from either Grenoble or Turin airport or if you prefer to drive to the alps we can include a number of tunnel or ferry crossings.
