Domaine de l'Adoux
It is approx 600m from the resort and the slopes, but Alain and Odile have a minibus which they use to shuttle everyone to and from the slope so you have the advantage of the peace and quiet surroundings. it is, however, easy to get to-and-from the slopes – the ski shop in resort will store your equipment for you so you don’t have to worry about carting it to and fro each day.
In fact you really don’t have to worry about anything during your stay – your lift pass will be delivered to you, the ski shop will ensure you are kitted out (with 10% discount using a card from the hotel), and then off you go. After skiing you can relax in the covered heated pool or try the sauna and Jacuzzi.
There is a small fitness area and you can also book massages and beauty treatments. The lounge/bar area has a lovely open fire and is a great place to have a drink before (and after) dinner. If you do need to catch up with whats’s going on at home, there is free wifi (just ask reception for the username and password). Many people head back to the hotel for lunch, but if you want to stay on the mountain there are 3 mountain restaurants – the hotel will give you vouchers which can be used in these restaurants 3 times during your stay.
The family run hotel has 25 en-suite rooms decorated in a mountain style. Most of the rooms are double rooms, some are large enough for a third bed and there are also some with interconnecting doors which can be sold as family rooms (with 2 adults in one room and up to 4 children in the second room). Please ask us about these rooms if you are interested in them. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm and friendly and the service exemplary.
