Ski Holidays in St Lary
We feature a range of hotels and apartments in this resort to cater for all budgets. The ski area has something for everyone of whatever level and style. There are 3 areas and these are St Lary 1700 - Pla d'Adet - the area for families. This has a toboggan run and the Kid park which is a ski area for children from 6 to 12 yrs. This area can be accessed from the village by both the new Gondola and the cable car.
On account of the family credentials of the resort, it has been awarded the Famille Plus accreditation.
St Lary 1900 -Espiaube - is for more experienced skiers and boarders and includes a half pipe with its' own lift at the bottom of the pistes and the "Mirabelle" run which drops 700m down to 1900m and is 3.6km long. Since last season there is also a blue run (L'escalette) hich links 1700 and 1900.
Last but not least is St Lary 2400 - a must for anyone who loves mogul fields, slaloms or the snowpark. This is the area to head for if you are a free rider.
Spa & wellness facilities in St Lary
Back down in resort the Sensoria Rio Wellness centre is fun for all the family with it's waterfalls, whirlpools and underwater jet sprays. It is part of the same complex as the thermal baths (see more on this in our Doing More section).
Getting to St Lary
All our prices come inclusive of a Eurotunnel crossing - the drive is not as far as you think and with a well planned stopover, it is an excellent value option for getting to St Lary.
Flying can be done to Tarbes (shortest but fewest options) and Toulouse - transfer time about 1hr 40mins.
