Ski Holidays in Cervinia
Cervinia is a popular ski resort which benefits from its ski area being linked with the stylish ski resort of Zermatt
The combined ski area is 350km and offers a good range of slopes for the advanced skier as well as having some friendly stuff for the beginner.
The resort of Cervinia is now pedestrianised which means it is ideal for strolling out for an after-dinner drink - do however be aware that this also means that your transfer bus will not be able to take you to the door so the last bit will be on foot!
Skiing & Boarding In Cervinia
The combined ski area with Zermatt offers 350km of skiing.
There are 150 km of slopes above Valtournenche with 24 ski lifts the link to Zermatt..........
The link is provided by the Cime Bianche Laghi-Plateau Rosà gondola and the Bontadini chair - both allow skiers to cross the border and enjoy a total of 350 km of slopes.
From the top of Plateau Rosà it's possible to ski down to Zermatt or else take the Ventina trail, a 12 km long slope that descends over 1000 m from the trail head (3480 m) to the of the village of Cervinia(2050 m).
Snowboarding enthusiasts will enjoy Indianpark, which is considered one of the best snowparks in the Alps.

Whether you're an expert skier or a beginner, whether you're looking for a "full on" night life or a convivial family holiday this is the place for you.
You can, of course, enjoy the area on skis but you can also surf with your snowboard, or cross-country ski, but it's also possible to experience the thrill of heliskiing with an alpine guide or go snowshoeing.
