Trysil
Trysil lies at the heart of Scandinavia and is northeast of the capital Oslo towards the border of Sweden.
It is Norways largest ski resort and it is ideal for families of all ages (young and old!) but there are a variety of other activities as well.
Trysil is a paradise for skiers of all ages. Enjoy skiing in long, wide and freshly prepared slopes. There are specific children areas as well as a park with jumps and rails and pleasant places to eat on the mountain.
Ski area
In Trysil the highest ski altitude is 1.100m, longest run is 5.400m and the vertical drop is 685m. The Trail map gives you a overview of the ski areas.
Trysil offers a range of 66 slopes and 31 lifts and is ideal for the family skiing holiday having children's areas at both sides of the mountain. Trysil is a family friendly ski resort with an excellent infrastructure and snow conditions are never an issue - firstly, they are way North so the natural snowy conditions are great - however, there is a wealth of ski production capability with 450 cannons to ensure the snow will be perfect for you - indeed the resort offers a snow guarantee...they are that confident.
For the older ones there is also Norways premier and best (voted as such for the last few sasons) snowpark is located at Trysil Turistsenter.
