Ski Holidays in Pinzolo

The resort has an excellent snow record due to its enviable position which means that when the weather system is from the south, the clouds deliver snow having carried over the Dolomites and, when travelling from the North, the similar result occurs having passed over the Alps.

Skiing & boarding in Pinzolo

Whether you choose Pinzolo or Madonna di Campiglio as the base for your ski holiday, there is a large ski area to be enjoyed now that the Pinzole ski area has been linked into the resorts of Madonna di Campiglio which means that Madonn, Folgarida, Marrileva and Pinzolo offer a linked up area of 150km

Pinzolo is a charming village in the Brenta Dolomites and its iconic image is the 14th century church which is at the heart of the village.

The ski area is large (see below) but for beginners, Pinzolo offers an excellent base and excellent value accommodation

The Campigglio Val Rendena Val Di Sole ski area is the largest in the Trentino region and is situated in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. The lift system connects Pinzolo in Val Rendena with Madonna di Campiglio and Val di Sole.

For the boarders amongst you, the area boasts 4 snow parks with the one in Madonna being rated in the top 5 snow parks of the Alps

So on 1 ski pass, you will get access to 62 lifts and 93 ski runs – 44 blue, 35 red and 14 black and over 150km of skiing

Staying in Pinzolo

There are a range of options from self-catered chalet to apartments and hotels - there are some good value options even during the holidays and all with excellent links to the wider ski area -  do have a look at the options and email us if we can quote for your group

For non-skiers

If your ideal ski resort should also cater for non-skiers and some excellent après – look no further – the centre of Madonna di Campiglio has a delightful and engaging warmth and atmosphere and is, to a large extent, pedestrianised. There are a range of shopping opportunities which you would expect from an Italian high street and there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy an aperitivo in one of the fashionable bars.

Getting here

You can fly into Verona and have the shorter transfer to resort; or get the train to resort which is great....but cannot be booked until 90 days out......

Milan is also possible - email us for a quote on the transfer - can do the bus if the flight timings work or a private transfer.

Ski Holidays to Pinzolo by train

Getting to your ski resort by train is often a cost effective option as you will not suffer hefty baggage charges for the hold bag or for your ski equipment.

Getting to Italy is best done by taking the Eurostar to Paris (departs from St Pancras or Ashford) and then taking the Paris to Verona train.

We can arrange train tickets to combine with any of our Pinzolo accommodation so do review the accommodation options and then email us your dates  and accommodation choice and we will get back to you with prices for a train inclusive tour.

Rail availability is generally confirmed 4 months before departure but, if you are a group of 10 or more, we can often secure advanced group rates - contact us

We include your transfers from Verona train station

If we can advise on travel options, do contact us
