Kranjska Gora is a small town with a large choice of activities on offer. There are over 150km of mountain trails for biking, nordic walking and hiking. There's golf, horse riding, a summer sledge run, a cycle path along the valley for cycling or rollerskating, fishing, mountain biking in the fun bike park, tennis and climbing.
For those looking for more rest and relaxation there are museums and cultural landmarks such as the Russian Chapel on the way to the Vrsic Pass.
Some of the hotels have wellness areas for spa holidays and the town is also known for it's casinos.
Families will love all the activities and also the fairytale side to the town - one of Slovenia's most loved childrens writers was born in Kranjska Gora in 1884 and the tales of Kekec the shepherd boy can be found in Kekec's wonderland. The whole family can also visit the Reindeer farm or take a walk along the Triglavske Pravljice Path - (Triglanv fairy tale path)
