Formigal in the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees has the largest ski area in Spain with 137km of slopes - many of our accommodations are including lift pass and ski hire in the prices so there is excellent value to go with the great skiing.

Formigal
Situated just 6km from the French border, the village of El Formigal is a lively place which suits all levels of skier, but is especially good for families, beginners and intermediates. The ski area is spread over 4 valleys and everyone can enjoy skiing between each of the valleys. Over the last 4 years there has been a huge investment in Formigal in installing modern lifts and improving the whole resort.
The resort has a boarder cross trail in the Furco area which is a 600m area with banks and jumps. There's also a nightclub in resort - the Keeper Formigal - or you can head to the Los Sarrios music terrace right on the piste before then heading onto the apres ski pub Marchicha's.
The resort itself is purpose built and a 10 minute free bus ride from the slopes. Most hotels have a shuttle bus though or you can take the little train.
Many of the hotels also have their own spas with hydro-massage pools, steam rooms and saunas as well as a range of massages and beauty treatments. Some hotels (such as the Aragon Hills allow non guests to use the facilities (pay locally). The resort has a nursery and a snow garden for children and both of these can be prebooked.
