Holidays at the Old Government House
The Old Government House Hotel and Spa, more generally referred to as The OGH, is at the heart of St Peter Port, just up the hill from the main shopping street and barely five minute’s walk from the picturesque quayside.
An excellent central location but it still manages to provide a peaceful and tranquil environment. Set on a charmingly quiet street, the imposing Victorian facade overlooks a park.
The hotel is arranged around a private garden, with terraces and a heated swimming pool. Facing to the South East it is a perfect sun-trap that affords stunning panoramic views over the harbour, castle and sea, with the islands of Herm and Sark sitting a few miles offshore.
It’s a great place for relaxing after a day of activity or just relax all day with a book and a dip in the pool.
Whatever your plan, the location is hard to beat – as the one time official residence of the Governor it was very much at the heart of everything that went on in the island

Visit Randall's state of the art La Piette brewery where they brew Breda lager and Patois cask conditioned ale. Tours are every Saturday morning from to April to September at 11am for an hour and cost £5 - price includes the tour and a pint of lager/ale. Cheers!
